Who We Are
Bathtanicals, a small business based in the mountains of east Tennessee, makes bath and body care products from ingredients found in nature--like goat's milk, lavender, sea salt and apricot kernel oil. Our customers' favorite products are our hydrating creams, bath soaks, gift collections and soaps.
How We Approach Our Work
With a deep respect for the environment and a belief in using natural ingredients to care for both skin and soul, Bathtanicals uses minimal ingredients to create maximum results. We don't believe in using chemical additives for color, alcohol diluted scents or undesirable texture enhancements because we've figured out how to have great smelling and great feeling products using the earth's natural bounty.
How We Got Here
Our founder and owner, Chris Dzyngel, established Bathtanicals in 1997 in the beautiful lakeside state of Michigan. An expert in botanicals and essential oils, she began creating skin and body care products for women, men and children. Bathtanicals moved south to Tennessee in 2007, which now serves as a backdrop for creating our quality products.
Why We use Sustainable Practices
Knowing that each small act affects our planet, Bathtanicals uses sustainable practices in our business operations and our production. We reduce, repurpose and recycle because we love and respect our environment.

"I absolutely love the Caribbean MeltDown Body Butter! Working in a very busy retail pharmacy, I'm on my feet for 8-9 hours a day. At the end of the night, after the children are in bed, I apply the butter on my legs and it is really relaxing and healing! I've already used 2 full tubs since December. I like the scent, too. It's very light. I even like it better than Bath and Body's product." - Jaime, Auburn, ME
