Are Bathtanicals products, natural products?
Our products are considered natural as our ingredients are from natural sources. We do add a quality preservative to those products which require it (moisture creams, etc.) so that they do not need to be refrigerated. As an example, Treasures Foaming Bath, is our answer to bubble bath. It creates a layer of small bubbles on the bathwater rather than the usual large bubbles, which are created by using synthetic, chemical additives. And, we include a bonus by using mineral sea salts as the carrier so the benefits of the mineral sea salts enhance your bathing experience. Washing with natural soap leaves skin supple rather than taunt. In addition, natural soap rinses off easily and leaves a clean feeling on the skin.
Can I drink the EyeWaken tea?
Yes, the EyeWaken tea is edible but we do not recommend it. Drinking the tea will not reduce the swelling in your eyes.
Does Bathtanicals do animal testing?
No, we do not believe in animal testing. Ingredients are selected for their quality and properties so safety is an attribute we build into our formulations. We do use test groups to evaluate the effectiveness of products.
How can I extend the life of my soap?
After use, soap should be placed on a surface which will allow water to drain away and air to circulate, thereby hardening the soap bar. When soap sits in a puddle of water it softens and creates a slurry which is not usable and is really your soap.
Some of your products smell so good. Are they edible?
No. Our fruit scented soaps smell good enough to eat but the scent is a fragrance. If any of our products are ingested, please call your local poison control center or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
What does handcrafted mean?
Handcrafted means we formulate, manufacture, and package our products by hand without mechanical means. Our products are made in small batches not in large tanks. We physically check temperatures in process, hand blend ingredients and accurately weigh each ingredient. There may be some variation in appearance with handcrafted products, much like a painting of a painting. We cannot duplicate swirls in soaps, and soap bars can be a bit irregular in shape. We make every effort to be accurate in all of our processes.
What is a Bathtanical?
The name, Bathtanicals, is a combination of bath and botanicals (of, or pertaining to plant life). We understand the importance of balance in physical health and mental well being. Our focus is to keep skin (the body's largest organ) healthy and looking its best. We also offer body care and bath products for a home spa experience...a few quiet moments to reflect, rest and maximize your Time Out. All of our formulas and products are made, with care, in Tennessee and sold across the United States and Canada.
Can anyone purchase from your on-line store?
If you are 18 years of age, with a valid credit card, paying in U.S. or Canadian Dollars and shipping to a United States or Canadian address (PO Boxes excluded) - the answer is "YES".
Do you ship overseas?
At this time, we only ship within the U.S. and Canada.
Will you ship to a P.O. Box?
No. All orders must be sent to a U.S. or Canada residential or business address. Orders using a P.O. Box (or similar) will not be accepted by Bathtanicals.
